This year, the NYMR is celebrating 45 years of its Pullman services and have recently announced the Spring Moorlander service for visitors to dine in style and enjoy a delicious seasonal three-course meal, cooked and served onboard the Pullman Dining Train.

The return services depart from Grosmont Station at 12:30pm and travel along 18 miles of the heritage line to Pickering and back, with the experience lasting approximately 2 hours and 35 minutes.

Diners can expect a selection of artisan bread and butter at the table and then three-courses pre-booked from the seasonal menu. Starters include spring vegetable soup, goats cheese, pear & walnut tart, or chef’s homemade chicken liver pâté. The main course choices are roast loin of Yorkshire pork, Yorkshire seafood chowder, or pearl barley risotto. To finish, passengers can choose from a trio of desserts or a selection of cheese and biscuits, followed by tea or coffee and handmade specialty chocolates.

The Spring Moorlander is available for booking on 16, 17, 18, 19, 23, 24, 25 & 26 May, and costs £95 per person. There are four-person private coupes available for £399 and a four-person private coupe with drinks package for £415.
