Craft Irish Whiskey’s The Donn has received 98 points at the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) 2026.
The score places the whiskey among the highest-rated expressions in this year’s competition. It also strengthens the brand’s position in the premium spirits market. The recognition follows a series of international awards for The Donn. Earlier this year, it was named Single Malt Whiskey of the Year at the London Spirits Competition. The whiskey also secured a Double Gold medal and a score of 96 points.
Produced by Craft Irish Whiskey, The Donn is matured for just under seven years. The whiskey uses a combination of cask types and maturation techniques. The producer focuses on flavour development rather than age statements. Its approach centres on identifying the optimal maturation point for each release.
The latest IWSC result places The Donn among a select group of whiskies achieving scores in the high nineties. Such scores are typically reserved for some of the world’s most acclaimed expressions. The award also highlights the growing strength of Ireland’s premium whiskey sector. Irish producers continue to gain recognition at major international competitions.
