As demand for sophisticated alcohol-free drinks continues to grow, Fever-Tree has expanded its award-winning ready-to-drink collection with the launch of a new non-alcoholic Mojito.
Joining the brand’s popular Mediterranean G&T and Italian Spritz, the latest addition has been created for consumers seeking a premium alcohol-free option without compromising on flavour, quality or experience.
Inspired by one of the world’s most recognisable cocktails, the new Fever-Tree Mojito delivers the refreshing character of the classic serve in a convenient ready-to-drink format.
Responding to the Rise of Mindful Drinking
The launch comes as more consumers embrace moderation and seek elevated alternatives to both alcoholic drinks and traditional soft drinks.
According to recent YouGov research, more than a third of UK drinkers now regularly consume low- and no-alcohol beverages. The trend continues to drive innovation across the drinks industry, with premium brands investing in products that deliver complexity and flavour without alcohol.
Fever-Tree’s latest release reflects this growing demand, offering a sophisticated option suitable for everything from social occasions and summer gatherings to everyday enjoyment.
Recreating the Flavour of a Classic Mojito
Creating an authentic alcohol-free Mojito required Fever-Tree to carefully deconstruct the flavour profile of a traditional rum-based cocktail.
Using distillation techniques, the brand extracted notes of tropical fruit and golden molasses from Caribbean sugar cane. These flavours are then balanced with zesty Mexican lime and cooling Moroccan mint, inspired by Fever-Tree’s signature Mojito Mixer.
The result is a refreshing and layered drink that captures the familiar flavours of a classic Mojito while remaining entirely alcohol-free.
Tasting notes reveal bright citrus from Mexican lime, followed by rounded tropical fruit and molasses characteristics, before finishing with delicate mint freshness.
Crafted for Today’s Alcohol-Free Consumer
Rose Cottingham, Innovation Director at Fever-Tree, explained that the development process focused on recreating the depth and character associated with rum while maintaining the balance expected from a premium cocktail.
The team explored combinations of botanicals, spices, vanilla and tropical flavours to replicate the complexity of traditional spirits without alcohol.
The goal was to create a drink that felt instantly recognisable while offering the same sense of occasion associated with a well-crafted cocktail.
Expanding Fever-Tree’s Ready-to-Drink Collection
The Mojito strengthens Fever-Tree’s growing ready-to-drink portfolio, which continues to blur the line between traditional soft drinks and premium cocktail experiences.
Alongside the alcohol-free Mediterranean G&T and Italian Spritz, the collection also includes the Blood Orange Gin Spritz, developed in partnership with Papa Salt Gin.
As consumers continue to explore low- and no-alcohol alternatives, Fever-Tree’s latest launch demonstrates how the category is evolving beyond simple substitutes and towards premium drinks designed to stand on their own merits.
