Orange Buffalo’s award-winning wings are raising the heat this Summer at their new Tooting restaurant

This Summer, the hottest wings in town arrive in Tooting. For years many have made the pilgriage to Brick Lane and Hoxton for The Orange Buffalo’s legendary chicken wings but as of June, London’s southern residents will be able to enjoy succulent wings and chicken burgers at Orange Buffalo’s first restaurant in Tooting Broadway.

The award-winning wings menu has expanded to include an offering of succulent chicken burgers and an array authentic Orange Buffalo sauces: The Original tangy sauce made with Dutch chillies, Woof Woof made with Scotch Bonnets and Dutch chillies and a hint of Naga. For those missing last summer’s heat wave, the Snake in a Basket is the perfect way to turn up the heat; featuring seven Original or Woof Woof wings with one hidden Viper Wing – a wing so hot due to its high 1 million+ scoville content, anti-venom mini-milks can be purchased to extinguish the fire.

Orange Buffalo originally came from Hull and was the brain child of Mike So and Nick White who wanted to create a flavour of the US back in the UK after embarking on a US road trip which landed them in a plethora of American dive bars, eating unfussy, satisfying and moreish bar foods. Deciding to make their own sauce for the wings, Mike and Nick developed a unique yet authentic flavour that has enticed chicken wing enthusiasts from all across London and the world which helped them win the first wing-fest in London.

Located a stone’s throw from Tooting’s Tram Social, Orange Buffalo’s new restaurant is the perfect night time snack for everyone including vegan’s and vegetarians thanks to their Vegan Wing – a fluffy and crisp ‘wing’ made from cauliflower – you have to try it to believe it! Offering the ultimate lunch and dinner vibe for those who want great wings, great sides and a fantastic atmosphere – Orange Buffalo is certainly the hottest new opening in South London this Summer.
